Colour-Specific Visibility & Compliance
The certification and intended visibility use of the Result R477X varies by colour, so the correct version should be selected for the working environment.
- Yellow and Orange: UKCA under UK 2019 S1696 Schedule 35 Regulation 38.
- Orange only: also conforms to RIS-3279-TOM Issue 2:2019 for relevant rail-sector applications.
- Black and Navy: conform to EN 17353:2020 Type B3 for enhanced visibility during night-time use only.
The Black and Navy versions should therefore not be treated as equivalent to the fluorescent Yellow or Orange variants for professional hi-vis applications.
