CUSTOMER CASE STUDY
800 Custom Printed Hi Vis Vests for a Single-Site Workforce
HiViz Workwear completed a bulk order of 800 yellow HVW101 hi vis vests, supplied across multiple sizes and personalised with the customer's full-colour logo using DTF printing for delivery to one UK site.
The Requirement
The customer required a large quantity of yellow hi vis vests for use across a single site, with consistent full-colour branding applied throughout the complete order.
The requirement included 800 garments across four sizes, all personalised with the same large logo position on the back.
For an order of this size, accuracy and consistency are particularly important. Garment quantities, sizing, artwork, print dimensions and logo positioning all need to remain consistent throughout the production run.
The Garment
The customer selected the HVW101 EN ISO 20471 Custom Printed Hi Vis Vest .
The 800 yellow garments were supplied across four sizes:
| Size | Quantity |
|---|---|
| Small | 100 |
| Medium | 300 |
| Large | 300 |
| XL | 100 |
| Total | 800 |
Ordered and Priced Entirely Online
The customer completed the ordering process online without needing to contact HiViz Workwear beforehand or request a manual quotation.
They were able to select the required garment sizes and quantities and see the full pricing for the 800-vest order directly online before checkout.
This gave the customer clear visibility of the total cost of both the garments and personalisation while configuring the order.
For larger workforce requirements, this means customers can understand their pricing, build the required size mix and place an order without waiting for a separate quotation to be prepared.
Online Logo Preview with Templify
As part of the online ordering process, the customer uploaded their full-colour company logo and previewed the branding on the garment using HiViz Workwear's Templify design tool.
Templify allowed the customer to see an on-screen representation of how their logo would appear on the vest while configuring the order.
The customer could therefore select the garment, choose sizes and quantities, upload their artwork, preview the branding and see the complete pricing before placing the order.
In-House Artwork Proofing and Final Approval
Once the online order had been placed, the customer's artwork was passed to the HiViz Workwear design team for the final proofing stage.
Our design team prepared an artwork proof showing the intended size and position of the full-colour logo on the vest.
The proof was then sent to the customer so they could check the final logo dimensions and positioning before production began.
Production only proceeded once the customer had approved the final artwork proof.
This combination of an initial online Templify preview followed by a designer-prepared proof gives customers both a convenient online ordering experience and a final human artwork check before garments are printed.
Full-Colour DTF Printing
Every vest was personalised with the customer's full-colour logo using DTF printing, positioned as a large back print.
DTF printing was well suited to the order because it allowed the customer's full-colour artwork to be reproduced consistently across all 800 garments.
Once the final artwork proof had been approved, the same agreed logo size and positioning were used throughout the production run to maintain a consistent appearance across the complete workforce order.
Managing an 800-Garment Workforce Order
Large branded workwear orders involve more than repeatedly applying the same logo.
The complete order has to be managed across multiple sizes and quantities while ensuring the approved artwork specification remains consistent throughout production.
The Result
The customer was able to configure, price and place a substantial custom workwear order entirely online without contacting HiViz Workwear beforehand or requesting a manual quotation.
Following the online order, our design team completed the final artwork proofing process and obtained the customer's approval for the logo sizing and positioning before production.
The completed project resulted in 800 matching yellow HVW101 hi vis vests, personalised with the customer's approved full-colour DTF back print and supplied for delivery to one UK site.

Can Large Printed Hi Vis Orders Be Placed Online?
Yes. HiViz Workwear's online ordering system allows customers to configure custom printed hi vis garments, select their required quantities and sizes, see their pricing and upload their logo online.
Customers can also preview their branding using Templify before completing the order.
Once an order has been placed, our design team prepares the final artwork proof showing the intended logo size and position. Production begins after this final proof has been approved by the customer.
This process can support both smaller team orders and larger workforce requirements such as this 800-vest project.
Why Use DTF Printing for Full-Colour Hi Vis Logos?
DTF printing allows detailed, multi-colour artwork to be reproduced on workwear while retaining the colours and detail of the customer's original branding.
It is particularly useful for company logos containing several colours, detailed elements or designs that need to remain visually consistent across a large garment order.
For this project, DTF printing allowed the same approved full-colour logo to be applied consistently across all 800 hi vis vests.
